Verily those who disbelieve - they will be cried unto: surely Allah's abhorrence was greater than is your abhorrence toward yourselves when ye were called unto the belief, and ye disbelieved. 10 They will say: "Our Lord! You have made us to die twice (i.e. we were dead in the loins of our fathers and dead after our deaths in this world), and You have given us life twice (i.e. life when we were born and life when we are Resurrected)! Now we confess our sins, then is there any way to get out (of the Fire)?" 11 (It is said unto them): This is (your plight) because, when Allah only was invoked, ye disbelieved, but when some partner was ascribed to Him ye were believing. But the command belongeth only to Allah, the Sublime, the Majestic. 12 It is He who shows you His signs, and sends down provision for you from heaven; but none pays heed except the repentant. 13 Therefor (O believers) pray unto Allah, making religion pure for Him (only), however much the disbelievers be averse - 14 He is Lofty in degrees, Lord of the Throne. He casteth the spirit of His command upon whomsoever He will of His bondmen, that he may warn people of the Day of Meeting. 15 the Day when they shall rise up [from their graves] and nothing about them will be hidden from God. "To whom shall the kingdom belong that Day?" It shall belong to God, the One, the All Powerful. 16 (It will then be said): “Today shall everyone be fully recompensed for his deeds. None shall be wronged today. Surely Allah is Swift in Reckoning.” 17 Hence, warn them of that Day which draws ever nearer, when the hearts will chokingly come up to the throats: no loving friend will the evildoers have, nor any intercessor who would be heeded: 18 [for] He is aware of the [most] stealthy glance, and of all that the hearts conceal. 19 And Allah judges with truth, while those they invoke besides Him judge not with anything. Indeed, Allah - He is the Hearing, the Seeing. 20
