۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
