3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
