And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say: Travel in the earth, then see how was the end of the guilty. 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
