With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed it is Allah, Who is the Greatest Sustainer, the Strong, the Able. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
