And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
