۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
