Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
