And saly not your offspring for fear of want; We provide for them and for yourselves; verily their slaying is a great crime. 31 Do not draw near to fornication, for it is an indecency, and its way is evil. 32 And slay not the soul God has forbidden, except by right. Whosoever is slain unjustly, We have appointed to his next-of-kin authority; but let him not exceed in slaying; he shall be helped. 33 And do not touch the property of the orphans except for bettering it, until they come of age; and fulfil the promise made: You will surely be questioned about the promise. 34 And fill up the measure when you measure, and weigh with the straight balance; that is better and fairer in the issue. 35 And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned. 36 And do not go about in the land exultingly, for you cannot cut through the earth nor reach the mountains in height. 37 All that is evil in the sight of your Lord, and is detestable. 38 That is from what your Lord has revealed to you, [O Muhammad], of wisdom. And, [O mankind], do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity, lest you be thrown into Hell, blamed and banished. 39 What! Has your Lord favored you with sons and taken to Himself females from among the angels? Indeed, you utter a monstrous thing! 40
