Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
