The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 You will become three categories: 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A number of the earlier peoples, 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 and gushing water, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And couches raised up. 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 And made them virginal, 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
