In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 storming tempestuously 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 As justification or warning, 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what day is it timed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 Till a limit known? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
