The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
