We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
