The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
