The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 covered down upon them, 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
