The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
