In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Alif Lam Mim. 1 This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah - 2 Who believe in the Unknown and fulfil their devotional obligations, and spend in charity of what We have given them; 3 Who believe in that which has been sent down to you (Prophet Muhammad) and what has been sent down before you (to Prophets Jesus and Moses) and firmly believe in the Everlasting Life. 4 Such people are on the right way from their Lord and such are truly successful. 5 As for those whose fate is disbelief, whether you warn them or do not warn them – it is all one for them; they will not believe. (Because their hearts are sealed – see next verse). 6 God has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and over their eyes is a veil; and awesome suffering awaits them. 7
