The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
