۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 and that hour you are watching 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
