The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
