Blessed be He who has set in heaven constellations, and has set among them a lamp, and an illuminating moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and the day, one proceeding the other, for whoever wants to take heed or give thanks. 62 For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth, and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace; 63 And who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their Lord. 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 who when they spend are neither wasteful nor miserly, between that is a just stand, 67 who do not call upon another god with Allah, nor slay the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right; who do not fornicate, for he who does this shall face punishment 68 of sin-doubled shall be the chastisement for him on the Resurrection Day, and he shall dwell therein humbled, 69 Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 70 Those who repent and act righteously have truly returned to God, 71 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); 72 who do not turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the signs of their Lord when they are reminded of them; 73 They pray, "Lord, let our spouses and children be the delight of our eyes and ourselves examples for the pious ones." 74 They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, 75 There they shall live for ever; a fine dwelling place, and residence. 76 Say: "My Lord is not concerned on your account if you do not pray to Him. You have surely done with denying; soon will come the inevitable judgement. 77
