Al-Saaffaat 5 of 5
And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers. 139 Recall what time he ran away unto a laden ship. 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God's limitless glory, 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. 145 and We caused to grow over him a tree of gourds. 146 And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more. 147 And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. 148 Now ask them whether your Lord has daughters, whereas they have sons. 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say: 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Do you have any clear authority for such claims? 156 Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful. 157 They assert kinship between Him and the angels. But the angels know that they (the liars) will be arraigned (in Hell). 158 Glory be to God above that they describe, 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 for, verily, neither you [blasphemers] nor the objects of your worship 161 can lure away from God any 162 Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire! 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 Verily, we (angels), we stand in rows for the prayers (as you Muslims stand in rows for your prayers); 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 They say, 167 "If only we had had before us a Message from those of old, 168 Surely we would have been the bondmen of God sincere. 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 And assuredly Our word hath already gone forth Our bondmen, the sent ones: 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 So turn (away) from them for a while. 174 Watch them: they will soon see. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 When it comes down on their plains, it will be an evil dawn for those who had been warned. 177 Withdraw from them awhile 178 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 179 Exalted be your Lord, the Lord of Glory, above what they attribute to Him, 180 And peace be on the Messengers! 181 And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
