▼ 21 The Prophets
Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 But there is a ban on any population which We have destroyed: that they shall not return, 95 Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend 96 And there shall approach the true promise; and lo! the eyes of those who disbelieved shall be staring: woe unto us! surely we have been in neglect thereof; aye! we have been the wrong-doers. 97 Lo! ye (idolaters) and that which ye worship beside Allah are fuel of hell. Thereunto ye will come. 98 If these had been gods they would not have come thither, but all will abide therein. 99 For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear. 100 But for those whom We had decided to favour with good reward, they shall be kept far removed from Hell. 101 They shall not hear the slightest sound of it (Hell), while they abide in that which their ownselves desire. 102 The great Horror [of the Day of Judgement] shall not grieve them, and the angels will welcome them, saying, "This is your Day which you have been promised." 103 The day when We shall roll up the heavens as the recording angel rolls up the register of deeds; We shall make him similar to Our making him the first time; this is a promise upon Us; We certainly have to do it. 104 And assuredly We have prescribed in the Scripture after the admonition, that: the land! there shall inherit it My bondmen righteous. 105 This is a lesson for those who worship (God). 106 We have sent you as a benevolence to the creatures of the world. 107 Say: "What has come to me by inspiration is that your Allah is One Allah: will ye therefore bow to His Will (in Islam)?" 108 Then, if they should turn their backs, say: 'I have proclaimed to you all equally, even though I know not whether near or far is that you are promised.' 109 Lo! He knoweth that which is said openly, and that which ye conceal. 110 And I know not, perhaps it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a while. 111 He said: 'My Lord, judge in truth. Our Lord is the Merciful whose help is ever to be sought against what you describe' 112
God the Almighty always says the truth.
