Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Dispel evil with what is good. We know well what they attribute (to Us). 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
