The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
