In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, 1 He created man from a clot. 2 Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, 3 who, by the pen, taught the human being: 4 Teacheth man that which he knew not. 5 By no means: Verily man exorbitateth. 6 whenever he believes himself to be self-sufficient: 7 Surely to your Lord is your return. 8 Have you seen the one who prohibits 9 a servant [of God] from praying? 10 What will happen if the praying person is rightly guided 11 Or enjoins righteousness? 12 Have you seen if he denies and turns away - 13 Does he not know that Allah sees? 14 And yet indeed if he does not desist We shall drag him by the forelock, 15 A forelock that lies, is sinful. 16 Then let him call his associates; 17 We will call the angels of Hell. 18 Nay! (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))! Do not obey him (Abu Jahl). Fall prostrate and draw near to Allah! ۩ 19
