Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
Almighty God's Truth.
