[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
