۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
