▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 With spreading branches. 48 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 53 reclining upon couches lined with brocade, the fruits of the gardens nigh to gather -- 54 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 Besides those two there shall be two other gardens. 62 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 With two fountains gushing constantly, -- 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
