▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 Having in them various kinds. 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 In the two Gardens flow two springs. 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Dark green with foliage. 64 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fine carpets. 76 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
God the Almighty always says the truth.
