O ye who believe! seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. 153 And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not. 154 Be sure We shall try you with something of fear and hunger and loss of wealth and life and the fruits (of your labour); but give tidings of happiness to those who have patience, 155 Those who say when calamity befalls them, “Indeed we belong to Allah and indeed it is to Him we are to return.” 156 Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided. 157 ۞ Surely the Safa and the Marwa are among the signs appointed by Allah; so whoever makes a pilgrimage to the House or pays a visit (to it), there is no blame on him if he goes round them both; and whoever does good spontaneously, then surely Allah is Grateful, Knowing. 158 Indeed Allah curses, and the cursers, too, curse those who conceal the clear teachings and guidance We have sent down, after We have made these plain in the Book for the guidance of all mankind. 159 save such as repent and make amends, and show clearly -- towards them I shall turn; I turn, All-compassionate. 160 But those who disbelieve, and die disbelieving shall incur the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. 161 Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved. 162 And the God of you all is one God; there is no God but He, the Compassionate, the Merciful. 163
