Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 And raised high your fame? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
