The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 reclining on them facing each other; 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 but only the saying: 'Peace, Peace' 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 Amid thornless lote-trees, 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 and continuous shade, 30 near to flowing water 31 and abundant fruit, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And made them virginal, 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
