As for those who, after persecution, migrated from their homes for the cause of God, We will provide them with a goodly abode in this life: but truly the reward of the Hereafter will be greater, if they only knew it. 41 such are those who are patient, and put their trust in their Lord. 42 Before you also the messengers We sent were but [mortal] men to whom We vouchsafed revelation. Ask the People of the Book, if you do not know. 43 We have revealed the Quran to you so that you could tell the people what has been revealed to them and so that perhaps they will think. 44 Do those who do evil feel secure that Allah will not make the earth to swallow them, or that the punishment will not fall upon them from where they do not know? 45 Or, that he will not take hold of them in their going to and fro! so that they cannot escape. 46 Or He may seize them by diminishing their portion. Yet your Lord is compassionate and kind. 47 Do they not see the shadows of all things God has created incline to the right and the left, bowing in obeisance to God? 48 And whatever creature that is in the heavens and that is in the earth makes obeisance to Allah (only), and the angels (too) and they do not show pride. 49 They fear their Lord above them, and do what they are bidden. ۩ 50
