Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
