Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
WHATSOEVER IS IN the heavens and the earth sings the praises of God. He is all-mighty and all-wise. 1 His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent. 2 He is the First and the Last, and the Manifest and the Hidden, and He has knowledge of everything. 3 He created the heavens and the earth in six days, and willed to the Throne. He knows what penetrates the earth and all that emerges from it; all that descends from heaven and all that ascends to it. He is with you wherever you are. Allah sees the things you do. 4 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah return all the matters (for decision). 5 He turns night into day, and turns day into night; and He knows whatsoever is in your hearts. 6 Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend (in charity) of that which He has made you successors. Whosoever of you believes and spends shall have a mighty wage. 7 Why is it that you do not believe in Allah, when the Messenger calls on you to believe in your Lord, and He has made a covenant with you if you are believers? 8 He is the One Who sends to His Servant Manifest Signs, that He may lead you from the depths of Darkness into the Light and verily Allah is to you most kind and Merciful. 9 How is it with you, that you expend not in the way of God, and to God belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Not equal is he among you who spent, and who fought before the victory; those are mightier in rank than they who spent and fought afterwards; and unto each God has promised the reward most fair; and God is aware of the things you do. 10
