Hizb 28
< random >
۞ And Allah hath said: take not two gods; He is only One God so Me alone, Me dread. 51 Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him, and His the judgement for ever. So will you fear any other than God? 52 And whatever of blessings and good things you have, it is from Allah. Then, when harm touches you, unto Him you cry aloud for help. 53 And afterward, when He hath rid you of the misfortune, behold! a set of you attribute partners to their Lord, 54 that they may show ingratitude for what We gave them. So, take your pleasure, you shall soon know. 55 And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent. 56 And they assign unto Allah daughters - Be He Glorified! - and unto themselves what they desire; 57 When if one of them receiveth tidings of the birth of a female, his face remaineth darkened, and he is wroth inwardly. 58 They try to hide themselves from the people because of the disgrace of such news. Will they keep their new born despite the disgrace or bury it alive? How sinful is their Judgment! 59 For those who believe not in the Hereafter is an evil similitude, and for Allah is the sublime similitude, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 60
