The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Woe to Al-Mutaffifin [those who give less in measure and weight (decrease the rights of others)], 1 those who demand a full measure from others 2 but when they measure or weigh, give less. 3 Do they not know that they are bound to be raised from the dead 4 on a Great Day, 5 The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds? 6 No indeed, the Book of the immoral is in Sijjeen. 7 Ah! what will convey unto thee what Sijjin is! - 8 (It is) a marked Book. 9 Woe on that Day unto the beliers 10 Who deny the Day of Recompense. 11 None belies it except every guilty sinner. 12 When Our Verses (of the Quran) are recited to him he says: "Tales of the ancients!" 13 Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts. 14 Indeed! On that Day a barrier will be set between them and their Lord, 15 Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire. 16 They will then be told: "This is what you had denied." 17 NAY, VERILY - the record of the truly virtuous is [set down] in a mode most lofty! 18 And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is? 19 (There is) a Register (fully) inscribed, 20 To which bear witness those nearest (to Allah, i.e. the angels). 21 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 22 On thrones, they shall gaze; 23 Thou wilt recognize in their faces the brightness of delight. 24 They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed, 25 With a sealing of musk, which those who aspire for the best should desire, -- 26 and whose mixture is Tasnim, 27 The spring from which drink the ones close to Allah. 28 Lo! the guilty used to laugh at those who believed, 29 And when the believers used to pass by, they used to gesture at each other with their eyes. 30 and when they went back to their families, they went back jesting, 31 And when they saw them, they said: verily these are the strayed ones. 32 Whereas they have not at all been sent as guardians over them. 33 On the Day of Judgment, the believers will laugh at the disbelievers 34 On high thrones, watching. 35 The infidels have indeed been rewarded for that which they had been doing. 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
