And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Your Lord has many favors for mankind but most of them are ungrateful. 73 And indeed your Lord knows what is hidden in their bosoms, and what they disclose. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord will decide between them by His judgement. He is All-Mighty, All-Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on manifest truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82
