The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
