O YOU APOSTLES! Partake of the good things of life, and do righteous deeds: verily, I have full knowledge of all that you do. 51 This community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord; so hold Me alone in fear. 52 Then they cut their affair among them in regard to the Scriptures; each band in that which is with them rejoicing. 53 So leave them in their bewilderment for a while. 54 Do they fancy that Our continuing to give them wealth and children (means) that 55 have no other purpose except to help them in acquiring material benefits? No indeed. But they do not understand. 56 Those who tremble in fear of their Lord, 57 And those who believe in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, 58 and do not ascribe partners to Him; 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 those, hasten in good works, outracing to them. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring. 64 (We shall say): 'Do not groan today, surely you shall receive no help from Us' 65 Time and again were My messages conveyed unto you, but [every time] you would turn about on your heels 66 In pride (they Quraish pagans and polytheists of Makkah used to feel proud that they are the dwellers of Makkah sanctuary Haram), talking evil about it (the Quran) by night. 67 Have they not pondered over the word of God? Has something come to them that did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or did you not recognize your Messenger and, thus, denied him (Muhammad) 69 Or say they: "There is madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. "(A) Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects (B) The Quran (C) The religion of Islam,"] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth. 70 If truth had followed their whims and desires, heavens and earth and all that lives in them would have been brought to ruin. Rather We have brought them their Reminder. Yet they keep avoiding their Reminder. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 And verily, thou callest them onto a straight way 73 but those who disbelieve the life hereafter deviate from the right path. 74 ۞ And if We show mercy to them and remove the distress they have, they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. 75 (They are such) that We seized them with chastisement (and yet) they did not humble themselves before their Lord, nor do they entreat 76 Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. 77
