He it is Who hath created for you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not then fear Allah (believe in His Oneness, obey Him, believe in the Resurrection and Recompense for each and every good or bad deed)." 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92
