Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
