۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 and they have enraged us, 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
