Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 So truly with hardship comes ease, 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
Almighty Allah's Truth.
