O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment? 10 You are to believe in God and His Apostle, and to strive hard in God's cause with your possessions and your lives: this is for your own good - if you but knew it! 11 He will forgive you your sins, and make you enter Gardens whereunder rivers flow, and happy abodes in Gardens Everlasting. That is the mighty achievement. 12 And [you will obtain] another [favor] that you love - victory from Allah and an imminent conquest; and give good tidings to the believers. 13 Believers, become Allah's helpers, as Jesus, son of Mary, said to the disciples: “Who is my helper in (calling people) to Allah?” The disciples had responded by saying: “We are Allah's helpers.” Then a section of the Children of Israel believed and a section rejected the call. Thereafter We aided the believers against their enemies, and they prevailed. 14
