The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

CONSIDER the fig and the olive, 1 and by Mount Sinai, 2 and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace: 3 Assuredly We have created man in goodliest mould, 4 and We shall return him to the lowest of the low, 5 Except those who believe and do the right, for whom there is reward undiminished. 6 So who henceforth will give the lie to thee about the judgment? 7 Is not Allah the best of the Judges? 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
