۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
